A European prize for the legacy of Henrik Enderlein
“Henrik Enderlein contributed to shaping the future of Europe. Especially in the current international context, public debate about Europe and its future, the defence of democracy and peace are of utmost importance. I know that through this prize, young European researchers will help contribute to this debate and honour Henrik’s legacy”, Clément Beaune, French Secretary of State for European Affairs.

“Research and academic debate are essential to inform the political debate in Europe and to promote the search for a European way forward: I am pleased to announce the creation of the Henrik Enderlein prize for Research Excellence in the Social Sciences. The Henrik Enderlein prize connects the legacy of Henrik Enderlein—a passionate European—with forward-looking, cutting-edge European research. The prize recognises outstanding researchers whose work sparks important academic debates and makes a practical contribution at the same time”, Cornelia Woll, President of the Hertie School.
